Project Overview:

To transform this open-concept family room into a refined yet functional retreat, we embraced a layered design approach. A custom modular sectional in soft neutral upholstery maximizes seating while subtly defining the space without compromising its openness. Deep gray velvet swivel chairs provide both versatile conversation seating and a wow element with its striking tufted back. The grand two-story stone fireplace was elevated with curated accessories, adding warmth and texture. We preserved the room’s airy grandeur while enhancing intimacy through a muted palette of soft grays, warm taupes, and organic elements. Oversized greenery, woven accents, and sculptural décor introduce depth, while a statement wrought-iron chandelier anchors the soaring ceiling. A sleek console table with plush barstools behind the sectional fosters seamless flow between the family room and kitchen, providing casual seating for entertaining. The result is a sophisticated yet inviting space that effortlessly balances scale, comfort, and timeless elegance.
